A Hundred Tea Parties, 2025
cardboard, string, spray paint, plaster molds
72" X 30" X 48"
A Hundred Tea Parties is a sculptural representation of memory, and layered emotions, capturing a distant experience. While teacups are embedded within and around the sculpture, they serve as a vessel of familial connection from generations past. They reference quiet, meaningful encounters with family and childhood memories of past tea parties. The teacups cast in plaster show the fragility and importance that memory and heritage represent. This experimental collection of media forms a narrative of family, identity, and how the past is carried with us.
